Club Visit

Postby andrew on Tue Oct 25, 2005 3:03 pm

On Friday the 4th of November we will have a visit by Sensi John Hamer (3rd DAN). Please try and make this session, it will be one of the best sessions that you do . John is one of the most senior instructors in the country so the session is definitely not to be missed.

License

Postby andrew on Fri Oct 21, 2005 10:44 am

Please make sure you bring cash or cheque to pay for a license if you have not already done so. If you dont have a license you cant go to the nationals or grade.

East Midlands Regional

Postby Fin on Tue Oct 18, 2005 10:07 pm

As you may be aware, there is an east mids regional course coming up. These are usually great fun and taught by some of the best senseis in the country. They are also a great way to get to know people in the area that you'll be drinking with at the nationals and grading with at the end of term.
This term's regional will be on

Sat 29th october from 1pm-5pm.

I've just clarified this with Sensei Ady so I hope this resolves any confusion. Venue to be announced soon. Hope to see everyone there!

Licenses and Gi Order

Postby Tigger on Fri Oct 14, 2005 2:47 pm

Hi everyone

Just to let you all know that we are odering Gis for those who want them (the nice white pyjama-like outfits that we all wear). They will be £16 each, so if you could please come armed with your cheque books at your next session if you want one.

Plus if you have been training with us for more than two sessions you will need to buy a license - this is basically just insurance and cost £20. This means that you can train for a whole year at any Jitsu Foundation based Jitsu club (if which there are loads!!!). Again if you can come armed with cheque books....

Jitsu Mailing List

Postby Site Admin on Fri Oct 14, 2005 6:12 am

Hi everyone,

I've (finally) updated the mailing list for the Warwick Jitsu club. Everyone should have had an email this morning from me telling you all about this, but if not, can you make sure that you let me know, so I can add you to the list.

The mailing list is often the only pre-warning of late-organised events, so make sure you're on it if you want to know everything that's going on!

Have fun everyone!

Just thought I would say welcome back, and hello to any new people reading this.
Our training sessions for this first term are
Tuesday 7.30-9pm

Both sessions are in the Minor hall in the uni sports centre (same place as last year). please remember to arrive in enough time before the session starts to get changed.
This year we are being sponsored by The Phoenix Pub, and will be going there after training sessions, where they will provide us with food for a very small cost.
The new exec (for anyone who has forgotten) is as follows
Chairman: Chris H
Secretary: Scott B
Treasurers: Bola and Jake

These are the people now running our club! So have fun and see you at training (and the first big social on sat oct 8th!)
